I ordered this item an confirmed: it is two packs of 12 batteries each for a total of 24 batteries. I though the price was good and the batteries are not bad alkalines ones.

The 1800-mAH capacity of these batteries compares poorly with many AA batteries which store up to 2500 mAH.
C batteries should be able to store at least 5000 mAH. Check the fine print before you buy.

Short tip prevents charging with some chargers
The button on the positive end of the battery is about 1 mm shorter than a standard alkaline C battery. This shorter post prevents contact with the electrodes in my battery charger (Rayovac Model PS3 4-cell).

LEXUS ES350 Battery convenience comes overnightI didn't know that my Lexus ES 350 "smart key" that does everything from starting the car to unlocking the doors was battery driven until my car started warning me it was going low. Uh oh.
I looked up the warning in the manual got the right battery number and then searched every store I went into - grocery stores drug stores Target... No one carried it. Then the battery died on me.
So I needed one pretty quickly. I'm not sure why the other reviewer says that shipping is expensive. It's free (without even spending the normal $25 typically required by Amazon) if you can wait three to five business days. But I needed mine immediately. So I paid the Fed-ex cost which seems to be the actual Fed-ex cost. This is the only supplier I could find on Amazon that offered multiple shipping options on it (1-day 2-day and 3-day and longer). So it was the best option for me as long as they sent out the right thing quickly. They did.
I ordered four to keep the extras in my glove box so I won't get stuck again. But the cost of the shipping was the same as for one. They came in a four strip Panasonic sealed package and work just fine.
This is the only way I'm getting my batteries from now on. Only I'm going to do order them earlier.
TIP: There's a youtube video someone put together to show you how to change the battery in your smart key that I found more helpful than the manual.

Good value excellent productI keep these on hand all the time. I've replaced all my candles (tons and tons of candles) with flameless candles with timers (some with dual timers) that require 2 "C" batts each for 1000-1500 hours 'burn' time depending on the style of 'candle'. I also have solar lanterns that hang from shepherd's hooks looped through my chain link fence Spring through Fall months that use "C"s.
Having said that with this product my burn time and brightness of the candles and lanterns last much longer than estimated by the manufacturers of those products (Candle Impressions) whether the candles are 'on' all the time or using them with the timers. The same holds true for the extended brightness of the stained glass (plastic) lanterns outside as compared to other C batteries I've tried in the past. They are wonderful for all those times I lose power here (and that's a lot) from wind storms rain freezing rain and drizzle snow transformers blowing out or sneezing. :)
I've also given the flameless candles as gifts to those who like the idea of eliminating the safety hazards of real candles that must be carefully placed and watched in their homes and always include these batteries with the gift.
Can't go wrong. I monitor this product regularly and pick it up when on sale so I never run out. Reliable long lasting dependable good value. Can't go wrong.
